I considered doing this, but then I got caught up on technicalities.
Does changing planes in Chicago count as being in Illinois? What about changing planes in Cincinnatti in terms of being in Kentucky. If we don't count layovers, does the forever that it took to drive across Kansas count? And what about states where I lived for summer jobs but told those states that I lived somewhere else for income tax purposes?
You can see how all those questions made it impossible for me to play along.
I counted every state I drove through/purchased gas in while driving....like Kansas.
