This is what I do when I can't sleep

Insomnia is a real bitch. I've been awak since about 4:00-ish. This is the second time in 3 nights. I'm not sure it's regular insomnia. Wednesday night was the first time in 10 days that I didn't take one of my Motrin horse pills before bed (high does of Ibuprofen really do make one sleepy). And tonight I got up to use the bathroom and the leg pain kicked in then voila, can't get back to sleep.

By the way, did anyone know Dave Navarro has a blog? Pre-Rock Star INXS, even. Mr. Cheeky stumbled upon it the other day. Oh, RuPaul has one, too.

Oh, poor, poor Cheeky. The insomnia, pain, and familial stress. I'm sending your way all the good vibes I can muster.

sorry about the insomnia... I struggled to sleep last night, too. :(

Thanks for the pointers to these blogs!

We could have chatted! I was up too, being mauled by eight cats who were delighted to have a playmate an hour earlier than usual!

I'm having the same problem...am on the same drugs as you for a different issue...and my sleep patterns SUCK right now.

I feel for you, girl.

I have serious insomnia. Or better said, "had." It's less severe now. One of my discoveries was making chamomile tea out of fresh chamomile flowers bought at Whole Foods or Wild Oats. I make it really strong. Very bitter. Long steeping (15-20 minutes). I swear by the remedy. It is some powerful stuff. It sounds so dorky, but you should try it some time! Maybe it will work for you.
