Completely unplanned, but we're going to be grandparents! That's right...Zooz is pregnant. See, a about a month ago on the very day we were to take Linus in for his little snip, he and Zooz sneaked upstairs and Mr. Cheeky found them on our bed. Tied. (I didn't need to see that.)
It's been a month of freaking out and wondering, and getting advice from every animal care person we know. Our vet and many others encouraged us to 'go for it' and 'let nature take its course' (instead of terminating the pregnancy). They talked about the process and how cute the pups would be, how we'd have no problems finding good homes for them. A tech at our vet's office who also breeds Frenchies had offered to help us through the process.
And this morning an ultrasound confirmed what we've suspected. There may well only be one pup, two at the most. And they're due--get this--on about Valentine's Day.
