WTF Tuesday

While sitting in Panera Bread drinking a cappuccino, surfing the web and killing time while our cleaning woman scrubs Christmas out of our place, I'm starting a new little blog tradition of "WTF Tuesday," when I'll post things from the previous week that beg the question "What the fuck?"

This week's WTFs:

  • Mid-January and it's 63 degrees outside. Still no snow this winter. WTF?
  • At a doctor's office they had on the "soft rock" radio station in the waiting room. Soft Cell's Tainted Love came on. I remember when Soft Cell was alternative and now they're soft rock??? WTF?!
  • Our loser newspaper delivery person insists on not bagging the paper, even on rainy days. WTF?
  • My reference letter from the Dean stated I'd been denied tenure. WTF?
  • While researching architect firms in a city where I've applied for a job Mr. Cheeky found this kick ass doggy daycare place that is nicer than any home we'll ever own. WTF?!
