1. Do you ever eat fruitcake? No
2. Do you put out a Gingerbread House as part of your Christmas decor? Once or twice I've bought those kits and put them together. Not usually.
3. What colors are your tree lights this year? Mostly white (it's a pre-lit tree) with some colored lights added for nostalgia.
4. How tall is your tree? Seven feet
5. Are all your gifts wrapped as of today? Yes, unless you count the dog's stockings (which aren't yet filled).
6. What is your favorite Christmas cookie or candy? My mom used to make these candy things with peanut butter, butterscotch chips, chocolate chips, and rice krispies. doG I love those things.
7. What do you expect Santa will bring YOU? A Vera Bradley tote and some other goodies
8. Are you spending Christmas Day at home? Yes, yes, yes! Oh joyous relaxing day...
9. What is your tree topper this year? A retro-esque star
10. Do you wrap your own presents to others? Who doesn't? Unless it's a gift by mail that is sent directly to someone, then I pay for the gift wrapping.
11. How old were you when you gave up believing that Santa was a real person?
I think I was 6. I found out some how and "confronted" mom. She confirmed it and I cried my little kid heart out.
12. Do you go to church on Christmas Day or Eve? No
13. Do you have a real wreath (genuine green stuff)? Yes, made it myself!
14. Do you want a white Christmas? We've got it, baby! Had snow all month and got more yesterday. Yippee!
15. Favorite main course for Christmas dinner? Anything that feels special; sometimes turkey, this year lobster (tonight instead of tomorrow).
16. Do you cook on Christmas Day? Usually.
17. Do you ever wear a Santa hat? Um, sometimes. When and where are we talking about?!
18. Do you have a Christmas bedspread? Is this a serious question? But ask me about my Christmas underwear... ;-)
19. Your favorite Christmas CD or album? Too many to list. (My iPod playlist for our holiday party had over 14 hours of music--enough said).
20. How long is your Christmas Card list? This year we sent out around 140 cards (and received around 30).
21. Do you hang and stuff stockings? Hell yeah!
22. What is your favorite Christmas motion picture? A Christmas Story ("You'll shoot your eye out!")
