Feed Aggregators?

Okay, I'm finally giving in and going with a blog reader. Everyone I know just loves them and I need something to help me keep up in a more organized fashion with reading all your bloggy goodness.

The questions is, Bloglines or Google Reader?

Thoughts, feedback?

Oh, now I gotta go figure out what these are. Does this mean I won't get to see all the cool graphics tho???

hmm, weird. i'm trying to comment and it's "denied for questionable comment." i wonder what i'm saying that's so naughty?

Same as "girl least likely to" when I tried to add my two cents. I went with the second of the choices you presented, if that helps, and have been more than happy with that!

I highly recommend goggle reader over Bloglines. I used to use BL and would frequently lose feeds and/or things would not update for weeks. I switched to GR about a year ago and never looked back! :)

I am going to be a total rebel and say Abilon. I don't know if it's offered anymore, but I'm sure that there are copies of it floating around the net.

Agree with comebacknikki-- Google reader is great.

i am in the same boat as comebacknikki. and, i also like the "reccomendations" from google, have found cool food blogs that way!

I'm all for Google Reader as well. There's the fact that its layout is relatively familiar to anyone who's used any of Google's other products like Gmail, but my favorite feature is its keyboard shortcuts. They make it a breeze to read through your feeds. My fingers automatically move to the "N" and "P" keys to cycle back and forth between posts.

You can also tag the posts, mark them as favorites, and create a special pages for others to see either all of the feeds that you're reading or just those that you've marked to be shared.

I'm obviously a big fan :p

okay, i'ma try this again... here's what i tried to post the other day! :)

i use google reader, and i love it. i've never used bloglines or anything else, though, so unfortunately i can't give you nifty comparison info. sorry!

but i like google reader because i can add it to--and therefore see it from--my google homepage (if i want to), allowing me to do little sneaky blog-reading whenever the mood strikes! in the actual reader itself, you can organize how you read your posts quickly and easily, and adding a subscription is also easy as pie. i likes.
